Personal Experience:

Making the choice to spend four months in a new country on the other side of the world all alone is not an easy decision to make. Being away from the comfort of my natural environment was challenging from time to time but ultimately, it was the best choice I could have made during my time at NDSU. I was able to develop a level of independence I had yet to achieve in my life. My passion for traveling was put into real life practice and I was so blessed to get to study under some of the most historically impactful art and architecture pieces to date. One of my favorite things I did while studying abroad was enrolling in a fashion design course where I was able to expand my skills in sketching and work with colors and textiles.
